TECHNICAL INFORMATION

ENGINE

DEUTZ 8 cylinder air-cooled type BFL-714-D

This engine has been overhauled in 1996, after overhaul approx 1,500 hours.

BOOM

The main boom is an original GOTTWALD make, Tubular type with connection for a Fly-Jib.

Basic boom length: 16.0 metres with extensions upto 61.0 metres.

DRUMS

The crane is equipped with 2 main drums, electric driven by E-Motors of 380 volt with "Ward-Leonard" steering system.

One boom hoist drum, electric driven.

Electric driven Swing system with 2-speed transmission.

WIRES

All steel wires for hoisting and boomhoist were renewed in 1996 with valid test certificates.

CAPACITY

The maximum lifting capacity of the crane is 4,500 ton/metres.

With a boom length of 43.0 metres, the lifting capacity is 227 tons on a radius of 12 metres, and 100 tons on a radius of 18.0 metres, with 61.0 metres boom the lifting capacity is 42.0 tons on 30.0 metres.
